The town of Cherry Valley is on the eastern side of the 10 Freeway, just after Yucaipa and Calimesa, wedged between the popular tourist attraction Oak Glen and the rest of the San Gorgonio Pass area. The two main roadways through the town are Cherry Valley Boulevard, and the cross street of Beaumont Avenue.
Homes in Cherry Valley primarily consist of non-conforming properties, mostly built independent of each other. Many neighborhoods are not curbed and made up of large lots of a half-acre or more.
